ACF-50: Cutting-Edge Corrosion-Preventing Compound
ACF-50 is a cutting-edge corrosion-preventing and lubricating compound developed specifically for the aerospace industry. This product is an ultra-thin liquid film formulation that provides unparalleled "active" corrosion protection for up to 24 months. It is designed to combine the functions of a corrosion inhibitor and a corrosion preventer.

ACF-50 must be used in accordance with the corrosion prevention, control, and repair specifications established by the original equipment manufacturer or regulatory agency.
On virgin metal surfaces, ACF-50 forms a self-healing barrier, preventing corrosion at its source. This formulation provides effective protection at both physical and chemical levels for up to two years.
Key Advantages:
● Provides a comprehensive corrosion protection solution
● Significantly reduces corrosion incidents
● Ultra-thin film contributes to weight reduction
● Superior quality and customer approval
● Convenient and environmentally friendly
● Safe and compliant

ACF-50 Product Line
ACF-50 is also a high-quality lubricant, free of waxes, resins, silicones, or Teflon—substances that can clog mechanical parts, block drains, or trap moisture, leading to corrosion.
While ACF-50 is primarily used in the aerospace industry, its application extends to any scenario where corrosion is a potential concern.

ACF-50 Application Areas
ACF-50 is primarily used in fuselages, stabilizers, avionics, circuit breakers, precision connectors, antenna mounts, and other applications.
![]()
ACF-50 corrosion inhibitor is safe for use in areas surrounding avionics equipment and aircraft electrical systems. Its components do not form electrical pathways and will not cause detuning of precision radio equipment.
Areas on aircraft aluminum structures where corrosion inhibitors must be used:
1. Areas exposed to the atmosphere during operation, such as the leading and trailing edge cavities of the wing, the front spars spar, and the contact edge between the front spars and the spar.
2. Areas where water accumulates and is difficult to drain, such as the fuselage bilge.
3. Areas where corrosion is caused by direct contact with solutions, such as the bottom structure of the galley and latrine.
4. Areas where the coating has not been restored after the installation of rivets and bolts.
5. All edges of deteriorated paint and sealant on mating surfaces.
6. Areas with deteriorated paint around fasteners (to prevent filiform corrosion).
7. All locations where corrosion is found.

ACF-50 Storage Conditions
Storage Temperature: Do not store in environments exceeding 50°C or 120°F.
Shelf Life: Stable under normal conditions (no fixed shelf life).
Heat and Fire Sources: Avoid contact with heat sources/fire sources.
Storage Area: Must comply with legal requirements. Avoid heat and direct sunlight. Containers should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place.
